Breathtaking Missoni Couture documented iconic marigold-yellow floral bird garden print caftan gown from their 1971 collection. Such a rare and gorgeous color! Redefining an entire genre of fashion, the 1970's were seen as Missoni's launch to fame as the bohemian chic trends coincided with Missoni's trippy and psychedelic patterns. The colorful scenic bird garden print silk jersey on this beauty is delightfully soft due to its "light as a feather" nature. The winged caftan silhouette is so chic. As you lift your arms, the wings of the dress will almost take off like the birds in the print. The silk fringe that follows the trim through the entirety of the dress is a dream. The flattering cut really allows the impact of the print to shine. A true museum worthy gown you will treasure for years and years to come.
